Shipping Australia is the peak industry association for international shipping companies and ships' agents operating in Australia. We promote efficient and effective maritime trade while advancing the interests of ship owners and ship agents. We engage closely with state and federal governments representing members' interests and providing the necessary shipping expertise to help develop good policies and make appropriate regulations that support efficient maritime trade. Shipping Australia also provides secretariat services to liner shipping companies that are members of discussion agreements and consortia that have their agreements registered under Part X of the Australian Competition and Consumer Act.
