Shirat Hanefesh

Shirat HaNefesh is a new, welcoming, pluralistic Jewish community in “close in” Montgomery County that:* Expresses its Jewish faith and heritage through prayer, joyous songs, study, and Tikkun Olam (social action to repair the world);* Welcomes everybody, including interfaith families, regardless what path has led them to Judaism;* Provides interactive Jewish learning and growth opportunities - from childhood education, Hebrew, and B’nei Mitzvah training to adult discussions, social action and Torah study;* Gives all members an equal voice, believing that a strong community can listen and consider its members’ opinions in an atmosphere of respect and good faith.
