Shiripuno Lodge is the exclusive destination to taste the true Wilderness of the Yasuni Biosphere Reserve. These magical place is nestled in a remote location of the Waorani Ethnic Reserve; the last hunters-and gatherers of Ecuador; they are promoting the Conservation of their ancestral land through Eco-tourism. Shiripuno Lodge is the first of its kind, where nature come first; we permit only 500 visitor per year! to minimize the human impact on the forest. Our large trail network (30 km) allows us to shift activities permanently and make more dynamics nature trips. Shiripuno Lodge is surrounded by miles and miles of pristine Amazon Rainforest, sounds from the forest to your bed. At Shiripuno Lodge you will enjoy to be OFF the grid: No Radio, No Television, No Telephone, No Internet and No Noisy Generators. We use Solar Energy to charge batteries and cameras and collect Rain Water for Showers and such.
