Shishukunj Melbourne

Shishukunj Melbourne is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Our purpose is to advance education amongst children through core life skills and to advance Indian culture. All activities are run fully by well trained and experienced volunteers, who have mostly been with Shishukunj since childhood themselves. The name Shishukunj is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘Garden of Children’. All of our activities are for the benefit of children and youth. We provide an environment rich in positive values, which allow the hidden potential within each child to flourish. We aim for holistic development of a child encompassing physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social development.
