Shoes That Fit addresses one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by providing children in need with brand-new athletic shoes—so they can attend school with dignity and joy, ready to learn, play, and thrive. We provide more than just new shoes; our true impact is in the increased confidence, joy, pride, and activity from the communities that we serve. Our national office, based in Claremont, California, supports volunteer sponsor groups in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, providing new shoes to more than children at over 2,135 schools last year. Since our founding in 1992, more than 3.4 million pairs of brand-new shoes and other essentials have been distributed to children in need through our programs. Despite having fewer than 30 employees, Shoes That Fit has consistently earned the highest 3- and 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator for over a decade.
