ShopTo ShopTo is an independent British online retailer selling video games, peripherals and consoles. The company headquarters are in Bracknell, Berkshire, United Kingdom. The company e-commerce site is the largest privately owned website in the UK. History ShopTo.net was launched in early 2006 by CEO Igor Cipolletta with the tag line (which it still retains) of “Shop Late – Play Tomorrow” based on the fact that orders placed up to 4.00pm would be dispatched that day on 1st class recorded delivery to arrive the next day. This was later improved to 5.30pm after extensive warehouse technology improvements. Innovation ShopTo have since their launch been recognised for their use of technology to drive their retail effort. Their retail technology includes: • A fully automated warehouse able to pick and pack items in under 2 seconds • SMS text message order facility • iPhone application • ShoTo TV a dedicated online TV channel for game trailers and news Tournaments & E-Sports ShopTo hold monthly gaming tournaments with substantial prize funds for winners. In addition they also sponsor the e-sports group Team Infused one of the UK’s leading competitive gaming teams.
