This property is acquired by us and then sold on to our client base predominantly in South Africa. In terms of the agreement Shorevest (Pty) Ltd earns a fee of 1% of the purchase price of a unit on exchange of contracts for the specific unit. Shorevest partners with multiple Property Development Companies in the UK to widen the range of investment opportunities open to our clients. This partnership gives both parties a truly global representation and access to trusted advisors in major global property hotspots. The founder of Shorevest, Gareth Katz has worked in UK property for 25 years, starting his career in a Central London agency and progressing to develop his substantial expertise in residential developments and investments. During that time, he has lived between the UK and South Africa, continuing to source attractive UK investment opportunities to South Africans and negotiating over £80 million in property transactions. His clients include SA REITS, family offices and high net worth individuals. Whilst the local South African market has played a significant role in his development, he recognised the growing need to balance and diversify his clients’ portfolios by gaining them exposure to the international markets
