Shri News an initiative of Softline Media. Ltd, launched in the year 2012, is a 24x7 Hindi News & Infotainment Channel. The word ‘Shri’ in Devanagri script stands for honour, abundance and all round wealth and peace. The name of our channel hence speaks for itself. We symbolise and bring to you powerful and enriching news content or ‘Damdaar Khabar’. The main objective of our existence is to bring about a change in our society through delivery of such information that will help institute much required peace and prosperity in today’s times. Apart from the everyday news we also have a basket of programs related to Health, Women, Youth, Real Estate, Automobile, Entertainment and Religion – to serve all kinds of audience. As a part of our expansion plan, in the first phase the channel will cover Delhi-NCR, U.P, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, M.P. and Chattisgarh, which constitute the major Hindi speaking belt of our country. We are in the process of constantly upgrading our portfolio and availability on different media. The channel already has a strong presence on various cable networks and is available on DTH platforms like Dish TV and DD Direct with a viewership of more than 15 million. Shri Times,(a national Hindi newspaper) published from Lucknow, is another feather in the cap of Shri Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd. and a sister concern of Shri News. Both the groups are associated with Shri Infratech.
