Shum & Co Consulting is a consultancy focused on legal directories – helping you get the best out of them, and making the process as painless as possible. Shum & Co Consulting was founded by Edward Shum, a veteran of the legal directories industry. He was Editor of Chambers Global at Chambers and Partners for 10 years, becoming one of the most experienced legal directories editors in the industry. He worked on many of the pioneering products which Chambers has developed, which helps give a lot more context to advice given to lawyers. He left Chambers in 2019 to join an international law firm as Directories Manager. Our work has resulted in real gains for firms and lawyers and, just as importantly, we understand the struggle and pain lawyers and marketing professionals go through when they try their best with the legal directories. We have worked extensively on submissions and other aspects of taking part in legal directories research for Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and so our breadth of expertise covers the top international legal directories.
