Sid Sustainable Innovative Design

SID Center, a new initiative in the Israeli professional landscape, has been developed as a response to the contemporary growing interest in Sustainable Innovative Design among architects, engineers, designers, urban planners and other stakeholders. SID initiative is active since 2014, aiming to inspire the use of innovative technologies and sustainable materials, and demonstrate their proper integration in buildings and urban development. SID-center brings together a verity of professionals from the building and design sectors and deliver simple, clear information on ‘Sustainable & Innovative Design’. SID offers: • Display of innovative technologies in real-life & hands-on demonstrations; • Training for professionals, embedding principles and practices of ‘Intelligent Architecture’ for healthy, comfortable and efficient environments; • A hub and a meeting place for professionals, consultants and clients; • An innovation accelerator and a living lab for new technologies, which may offer new qualities for the built environment.
