Founded in 2025 out of Stanford University by identical twin brothers, Sidekick Robotics develops self-improving robots for the healthcare labor shortage that can see, think, and act, with increasing precision. Unlike base foundation models, we’re training Sidekick to master full real-world workflows: the boring, backbreaking physical tasks that staff do every day, but shouldn’t have to. Sidekick is an intelligent AI robot that handles the heavy lifting in healthcare communities—managing laundry, housekeeping, and other physically demanding tasks that take staff away from patient care. By automating physical labor in split labor and care environments, we enable better quality of care. Sidekick Robotics is part of the Google DeepMind Gemini Robotics Trusted Tester Program.
