Sign Loop Interpreting Services Ltd

Sign Loop Interpreting Services was founded by Lucy Doig, a British Sign Language interpreter, who realised the difficulties and miscommunication faced by the deaf, deaf blind community, the communication professionals and organisations in connecting together in a meaningful way. Sign Loop was established to help raise deaf awareness and provide services that would support and enable the deaf community, communication professionasl and organisations to connect effectively. We have developed and deliver a range of services that include British Sign Language Interpreting, Deaf Awareness training for organisations and individuals, continual professional development for interpreters, support to the deaf community and organisations along with our innovative Deaf Access Centre in Birmingham which has been developed as a free resource for the deaf community to access interpreters and services. Sign Loop is planning to open further Deaf Access Centres across the West Midlands before proceeding to a national roll out of this concept.
