She developed both the world’s first single-atom transistor and the first integrated circuit made with atomic precision. The company is Chaired by Simon Segars, the former ARM CEO (2013-'22). With AU$283m (US$180m) in funding to date and a highly integrated team of over 70 engineers, SQC has developed a full-stack quantum computer. SQC manufactures our own quantum computing chips in-house at Sydney HQ using machines which allow us to see and control matter atom-by-atom. This ultra-precise approach is crucial to realising the quantum future and has already resulted in the company achieving the highest reported fidelities on quantum algorithms of any company.
