The solutions from SIListra Systems enable the execution of safety-critical applications on standard (COTS) hardware. For this purpose, SIListra offers the TUV SUD certified software development tool, SIListra Safety Transformer. The core function of the SIListra Safety Transformer is the automatic generation of diagnostic code to detect random hardware faults. This allows users to comply with safety standards such as IEC 61508 (up to SIL3), ISO 26262 (up to ASIL D), IEC 62061 (up to SIL3), IEC 13849 (up to PLe) and EN 50716 (up to SIL4) with standard hardware. Safety functions in the fields of industrial automation, control systems, and robotics can be implemented more scalable, flexible, cost-efficient, and sustainably portable compared to established hardware solutions. Manufacturers of plant, robot, device, and machine controllers consolidate their hardware infrastructure with this new generic, proven-in-practice approach. Safety-critical control applications run on the same hardware as non-safety-critical applications, regardless of whether it is an embedded system, a standard PLC with C/C++ support, an industrial PC, an edge server, or an IT server.
