Medical regenerative and cosmetic research from France have been brought together to create Silk: a treatment for unwanted hair that works with the skin’s own memory. The approach taken at Audrey Laure, the creators of Silk, is to work with the body’s own resources, by helping cells that have been damaged during hair removal to regenerate as silky, smooth skin and thus inhibit unwanted hair growth. Silk is a cream that repairs and hydrates while the user's own skin does the rest: regenerating itself by cleverly mimicking the cells on the surrounding skin. The result is that unwanted hairs become sparser, finer and disappear. Quantitative tests have shown a reduction of up to 67% in hair regrowth after just a month. Clinical studies show that after four months, 90% of users confirmed an ongoing effect. Over time, unwanted hair disappears. We note fewer ingrowing hairs and legs as smooth as silk. Silk can be applied all over the body and to the face and is suitable for all skin types.
