Silver Cross Surgery Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health; Medicare certified; and in compliance with conditions for Blue Cross Blue Shield and many other insurance plans. Silver Cross Surgery Center is affiliated with nearby Silver Cross Hospital and has a proven safety program for those rare occasions when additional care is needed. Our surgery center has all the resources needed to provide patients with a full range of surgical procedures on a same day basis. Outpatient surgery minimizes patient time away from home and work by eliminating overnight stays at a hospital. In addition, it reduces patient’s surgical expenses and co-pays on their insurance.
