Silver Lining Missions

Silver Lining Missions is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit walking with vulnerable children and families in some of Asia’s hardest places. Since launching our first poverty-alleviation work in Guangxi, China in 2005, we have grown into a multi-country ministry serving children in rural China, Myanmar, Vietnam and beyond. We focus on long-term, family-style care and development rather than one-time aid. Our core programs include- Family-style homes for orphans - Rehabilitation and education for children with cerebral palsy - Services for children living in deep poverty - Emergency medical assistance - Vocational training and dignified employment for youth and women - Child sponsorship pathways such as Little Angel Sponsorship and College Fund. We work from the ground up with local partners in poor rural communities, helping children and families move from survival to joy and hope with restored dignity. In 2024, 96% of our total operating expenses were invested directly into programs that benefit children, families and communities, reflecting our commitment to stewardship and transparency. We partner with corporate / CSR and foundation partners, individual sponsors and other missions who want their giving to produce measurable, long-term impact in children’s lives.
