The company was founded in December 1982,Initial operations were motor spares, equipment sales as well as repairs. The business operated the workshop and retail outlet in Palapye and then expanded to shashe. In 1993 the company ventured into Property development, developing commercial properties and managing the same properties. In 1995 the Motor repairs business also ventured into car-breaking and earth-moving sales and repairs clients serviced included Government, mining industry and energy Industry players. The business Invested in the operation and founding of a lodge/motel as part of property development and focused more in the virginity property market, particularly commercial property in northern Botswana. On the 19th year in operation the company re-branded from 4-connections (Pty)Ltd to Silverline Industries (Pty)Ltd. Silverline Industries maintained the property development division as well as re-positioned the parts and equipment division. In 2011 ground was broken as a new division was began in oil and gas products supplies. The operation ear-marked for June 2012. In December 2012 the business reached 30 years of unbroken operation and well positioned to operate for the next 30 years and beyond.
