Statistics also indicate a significant increase in The volume of production for the aquaculture sector, whether marine or inland water production or shrimp production, especially as future investments in aquaculture will exceed 17 billion Saudi riyals until 2030. أول معرض بحري متنوع في المملكة السعودية، يستقطب المعرض عارضين محليين ودوليين يعملون في مجال مصائد الأسماك و الاستزراع المائي والمأكولات البحرية اضافة الى السياحة البحرية والصناعات البحرية المختلفة. إن رؤية المملكة 2030 لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في قطاع تطوير الثروة السمكية هي من أهم الأهداف حيث تشير الإحصائيات إلى أن حجم الطلب الداخلي من الثروة السمكية في المملكة يصل إلى 383 ألف طن سنويا يعمل عليها 14.865 قارب صيد و 30.370 عامل كما تشير الإحصائيات إلى إرتفاع ملحوظ في حجم الإنتاج لقطاع الإستزراع المائي سواء أنتاج المياة البحرية أو الداخلية أو إنتاج الروبيان وخاصة وان الاستثمارات القادمة في مجال الاستزراع المائي سوف تتعدى 17 مليار ريال سعودي حتى عام 2030.
