In the middle of the Swiss Alps, we set out to produce something very special in 2019: the Simmental Switzerland® cheeses, timelessly good and made by a uniquely sustainable process. The Simmental is our home. Its purity inspires our senses. The clear mountain water of the Simme reflects our quality standards and the mountain forest is our source for energy. Even our grandfathers took pride in making cheese and used only renewable resources - this is the principle for our mountain cheese that we improve on with the latest technology. This is how we succeed in producing tasteful and original cheeses: with milk from predominantly grass-fed cows, through the loving handiwork of our local farmers, with the savoir faire of our master cheesemakers and of course matured in our Simmentaler cellars. Simmental Switzerland® is the key for us cheesemakers and farmers to win back our independence. So that we can keep what we love in the valley and share it with friends all over the world.
