Simon Buckley Golf Coaching

I am a qualified PGA (AA/T) Professional and level 3 coach with over 40 years coaching experience. I have taught all abilities from beginner to professional and am fully versed in biomechanics, sports psychology and swing mechanics. For a number of years I have been using new video technologies to enhance my coaching. I started my career as a trainee assistant at Worthing Golf Club. On qualifying as a PGA professional I moved to Ham Manor Golf Club as senior assistant before becoming head professional, a role which I retained for thirty three years and was honoured to be captain of the Sussex Professional Golfers Association in 1996. During my career I have played in many tournaments and have won a number of Pro-Ams. I was twice a member of the victorious TGI golf team in the Ashworth Cup at Celtic Manor and The K Club. I also hold two course records, one in the UK and one in the USA. To this day I am still as keen as ever to maintain a high standard of golf as I believe it an essential requirement for great coaching as I learn from my experiences.
