My goal is to bring a quantitative and data driven approach to early and mid-stage companies as well as more mature companies engaged in strategic and tactical reviews of the business. Focus on building long-term value for shareholders and other stakeholders. Work with existing finance teams on preparation of high-quality financial statements, budgets and forecasts; identify and optimize value drivers; analyze proposed investments and capital expenditures; prepare 409(a) valuation materials; draft and review communications with boards; prepare materials needed for fundraising including both debt and equity. Assist in the structuring and negotiation (together with outside counsel) of private financing rounds ranging from Series B to Series E or borrowing in the form of bank loans, private finance, venture debt, convertibles, or SAFE securities. Provide advice in connection with the preparation of formal presentations for boards or outside investors. Where appropriate, work across teams to help develop and implement risk management frameworks, including financial, legal, regulatory, technology, reputational, and personnel issues. Train senior executives to deliver compelling and effective company presentations. Coach senior executives, particularly finance professionals.
