Simon Says Child Bereavement Support is a registered charity providing support for children and young people up to the age of 18, living in the county of Hampshire, who have a significant person in their life who has died or is dying. We receive around calls a year requesting support and information for helping bereaved children. We offer: Support Helpline. Call our Support Line on 023 8064 7550 and speak to one of our team who are trained in bereavement support. They will take time to listen carefully to your concerns and questions on how best to support the bereaved child or young person. Host Support Groups. Held monthly in various locations across Hampshire (Andover, Basingstoke, Chandler's Ford, Gosport, New Milton, Portsmouth, Southampton and our Young People’s Group) our age appropriate support groups offer children and their families the opportunity to work through their bereavement journey. Our Simon Says Champion Schools Programme aims to empower staff with the confidence, knowledge, and resources necessary to offer vital support to bereaved pupils when they need it most. By providing an environment where bereavement is understood and sensitively addressed, schools can significantly impact the emotional well-being and academic success of their bereaved pupils.
