Simon Vision Consulting

Simon Vision Consulting was founded in 2012 as an initiative to expand Simon Business School's community engagement and impact beyond the university's campus. Vision provides the opportunity to connect with businesses throughout Rochester through sourcing Simon's graduate students as pro-bono consultants serving on short-term projects. The program generates benefits for both our clients and our members; the former with relation to objective, well-researched recommendations to overcome business obstacles, the latter with respect to utilizing both previous work experience and newly developed skill sets to solve a real-world problem. At Simon, we boast a truly diverse student body, with nearly half of our classmates coming from countries outside the U.S. With teams comprised of students from varying multi-disciplinary and cultural backgrounds, Vision capitalizes on our members' strengths to deliver high quality recommendations for a wide variety of clients. Our previous projects include: Price point analysis New product launches Social media marketing Comprehensive marketing plans Digital business strategies Investment Analysis New strategies for raising capital Profit-loss modeling Business plans Given the structure of Simon's academic calendar, Vision sources projects within two cycles of Fall (October-November) and Winter/Spring (February-April).
