Simonson Management Services (SMS) is a small, woman-owned firm that offers expertise within the weatherization, energy efficiency, and residential building industries. The SMS team specializes in strategic planning and implementation, technical analysis and assistance, customized trainings, organizational development, facilitation services, content development, and communications. Since its inception in 2002, SMS has built a solid reputation of helping clients reach their goals. Within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), SMS staff has worked on the Weatherization Assistance Program, the State Energy Program, Rebuild America, Geothermal Program, and the former Institutional Conservation Program. SMS staff has also served clients through cooperative agreements with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
