Simple Books

Hi! My name is Russell Mickler. I’m a technology consultant for small to mid-range businesses in Vancouver, Washington. I’ve been in the technology field since the mid-90′s. I’m a published author and an adjunct professor for many universities across the county. I’m very passionate about technology and how it shapes us. My career has allowed me to study the innovative ways tech creates opportunity – especially for small businesses. I feel that many technology professionals talk way over the heads of their customers due – in part – to a sense of insecurity about what they know, and, as a means of intimidation. I’m just not into that. Simple Books are short, easily-consumed, digestible ideas that help a small business manager make sense of tech stuff. I try to avoid the fancy language and just lay down the important details in a way that makes sense to an average Joe … and not to an average geek.
