Simwell Resources Ltd is a privately funded E&P company focused on building a portfolio of gas and oil assets across Europe. It concentrates on exploration for and evaluation of new plays as well as stranded or undeveloped gas prospects, with the intention of employing new and innovative ideas to improve the understanding of the assets. As of 2019, Simwell has also begun to investigate the acquisition of oil or gas development projects. Its focus areas are the European Continental Shelf – the UKCS, Eire, Netherlands and Denmark. The Company is in the process of adding to its portfolio in the emerging SNS Carboniferous & Zechstein plays on the northern and western margins of the Permian Basin. We believe that this play will be an important addition to the more traditional targets in the region and is proving that significant gas reserves may yet be discovered.
