Sinethemba Disabilities Organisation

Very much like the meaning derived from the name “Sinethemba” – we have hope. We as an organisation have hope that disabled people will be seen. The disabled community is one that is often left out of many important conversations pertaining to societal issues. It is our hope to bring the topic of disability into more everyday conversations, as this will raise the necessary awareness needed for more constructive change and a shift toward a more inclusive South Africa. We aim to create initiatives such as bimonthly volunteer groups to home/schools that cater towards disabled people, drives for necessities and also, serving as an educational social media platform that will educate and invite able-bodied people into the conversation surrounding disabilities. We, The Sinethemba Disabilities Organisation, look forward to you embarking on this journey with us.
