Sinfonia Viva

Sinfonia Viva was founded in 1982 and is the Orchestra of East Midlands. Music for everyone. We make live classical music accessible to many people. You can experience what we do in many ways, but they all share some characteristics. You could see us playing concerts in Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough and other venues around the East Midlands. You might take part in a project where you work with musicians to create brand new music drawing on your own experiences. You may join our community choir in Derby to experience the joy of singing in a supportive environment, as well as having opportunities to perform with the orchestra. Or you could come to one of our family events where children can discover orchestral music in a warm and welcoming environment.
