Singing For Smiles, Llc
Singing for Smiles is a non-profit music-therapy organization which provides free, quality entertainment to various local nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, assisted living homes, special needs programs, senior citizen luncheons and centers, and children’s hospitals, with the purpose of introducing the joy, comfort, and positivity that music brings to places that may need it the most. We began as a small group of performers in October 2013 in Aventura, Florida, and have since then expanded both in size and in scope - we have helped start numerous chapters all over the United States. Venues we have performed at in the South Florida Chapter include the JCS Special Needs Program, the V.I. Assisted Living Home, Imperial Assisted Living Home, Regents Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Kidz Korner Plantation Rehabilitation Center, Broward Children’s Center, Manor Oaks Nursing Home, Gracious Living Assisted living Home, Miami Beach Senior Center, and Beach Club Adult Center. In Gainesville with the University of Florida Chapter, we perform currently with Parkland’s Care Center.
