Singyouth Hub

Established in 2008, SingYouth Hub is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) registered under the Registry of Societies on 17 February 2011 (UEN No: T11SS0032A) and MCYS COC with our charity status dated on 12 Sept 2012. CORE OBJECTIVES SingYouth Hub aims to be a hub for nurturing and engaging Singaporean youths in community work. The mission and core objectives are as follows- • To be the hub for volunteer matching of youth volunteers to projects and programmes for community and welfare organizations • To develop activities so as to engage the Singaporean youth in the process of thinking, planning, marketing and execution of community projects • To set up an online resource centre for youths to initiate sustainable projects and programmes for community and welfare organisations • To develop leadership competencies, organizational capabilities and other essential skill-sets in Singaporean youths • To provide scholarships and/or bursaries to deserving volunteers (such scholarships and/or bursaries shall be awarded at the Youth Hub’s sole discretion, including but not limited to, the amounts and/or criteria for the award of such scholarships and/or bursaries) MISSION By creating a synergy between corporate entities (students and non-profit organizations), we strive to empower our youth with entrepreneurship skills and attitudes to solve social issues and inspire them to be positive contributors and change-makers individually to the society VISION Create a learning hub and community that effectively cultivates and empower youths to become social entrepreneurs and civic-minded leaders
