We will operate the largest silicon metal plant outside China, supplied by the purest materials from our 100% owned resources, to deliver a range of products to the undersupplied North American market. Silicon metal products are critical in the transition to a low carbon global economy, essential to applications such as solar cells, computer chips, silicones and electric vehicles. We are developing vertically integrated North American operations consisting of quartz, charcoal raw material, silicon metal and sales. We are constructing a fully permitted US silicon metal plant, with very low operating costs, which benefits from strong Government support and utilising a vast, high purity, fully permitted quartz deposit in Canada. We will deliver the finest quartz and silicon for our customers so that together we can create a better future.
