On a cliff top overlooking the platinum west coast of Barbados sits Sion Hill Plantation; views of golf courses provide a green slice of heaven between the hills and the coast. Nestled into the hillside, Sion Hill is blessed by constant fresh breeze from the Atlantic throughout the year. Mature mahogany trees and expansive agricultural fields tuck the property into a lush private oasis of variegated greens, interrupted only by vibrant dots of local tropical flowering plants and fruit trees. Tranquil, calm; where you'll hear the sounds of the breeze through the leaves and the tree frog's song at night. Sion Hill Plantation is a family run business comprising of 6 rental apartments, and approximately 100 acres of arable land. The plantation's roots are in sugar cane, but with shallow soils and undulating land our agricultural fields are now used for feed grass and ponies, while a few areas with spectacular views are available for sale. Our old plantation buildings have been beautifully restored and transformed into 6 unique self catering apartments, and the origional plantation house where 3 generations of the family still resides.
