Sister Circles

Sister Circles is an organization founded to inspire and empower those who identify as women to create positive change in their own state of wellness through education and the support of a strong community. Wellness is an integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The model used by our organization includes social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual, and physical wellness. Each of these seven dimensions act and interact in a way that contribute to our quality of life. Emotional Wellness The ability to understand ourselves and cope with the challenges life can bring. Physical Wellness The ability to maintain a healthy quality of life that allows us to get through our daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress. Occupational Wellness The ability to get personal fulfillment from our chosen career path while still maintaining balance in our lives. Social Wellness The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with other people in our world. Environmental Wellness The ability to understand the impact of your interaction with the environment and taking action to protect the world around you. Intellectual Wellness The ability to open our minds to new ideas and experiences that can be applied to personal decisions, group interaction, and community betterment. Spiritual Wellness The ability to establish peace and harmony in our lives.
