Dance Theatre Sisters Shahrazad Dance Studio and Dance School * As the main idea of our dance art work we have chosen real life stories,* exciting characters and narratives from “The Arabian Nights”.* Our staged dance suits reflect deep emotions, convey real life situations and relations between people and they create an atmosphere of different cultures.* We perform with * EASTERN ACCORDION and DRUMS,* ARABIAN DANCE and SONGS,* TURKISH DANCE and SONGS,* EASTERN BALLET,* WHIRLING SKIRT DANCE PERFORMANCE,* HAIR DANCE PERFORMANCE,* EASTERN FOLKLORE,* BELLY DANCE,* SPANISH FLAMENCO,* GYPSY'S DANCE.* We have broadened the limits of traditional belly-dance and we have created story-based staged dance suits-ballets, which we perform along with shorter impressive dances and choreographies.* If an organiser of a party wishes we can involve the guests of a party in a fairy-tale. We can organise dance-games, competitions or theatrical work-shops, which will be a part of our performance.* Our dance programme could last one and the half hours. We can divide the performance into several parts. One part lasts 12-17 minutes.* We enrich our choreographic dialogues and monologues with a help of Master Studies as Choreographer-Director in Tallinn University. We use various gestures, semiotic meaningful signs and iconic moves which are based on sign language, ballet, Spanish and Indian dances.* Our dance programme comprises staged dance suits, solo performances and duos meant to be performed both on small, cosier stages and on big concert stands, which enable to play with light adding mysteriousness and spirituality to our show.* We use versatile music by famous performers who represent different Arabian countries.* When we are to perform with percussionists, musicians or an orchestra - LIVE MUSIC - we can combine two different troupes of performers and programmes to present you a whole and exciting show.
