Sisters Trails Alliance

Sisters Trails Alliance (STA) is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to building, maintaining, and stewarding trails throughout Sisters Country. Our crews, partners, and supporters work year-round to keep local trails safe, welcoming, and accessible for hikers, cyclists, equestrians, Nordic skiers, snowshoers, and trail users of all ages and abilities. At STA, we believe strong trails come from strong community. Volunteers are the backbone of our work, contributing thousands of hours each year to maintain beloved routes, improve accessibility, and support projects that connect people to nature — and to one another. Our partnerships with schools, local businesses, and land managers help ensure that Sisters Country has a trail system that reflects shared stewardship and pride. From year-round maintenance to collaborative education projects, every effort is guided by our core values: community, stewardship, and inclusivity.
