Sitara Shipping Ltd. was established in 1981. Initially we started operations as ship agents, ship managers and ship owners. In 1991 we diversified into container operations. We have had a lot of “firsts” to our credit –being the first Indian NVOCC to own containers; the first Multimodal Transport Document (MTD ) in India was issued by Sitara.
