Sitenotes is a field-first, GIS-based construction data platform that helps public infrastructure agencies move from a project-lifecycle mindset to true asset-lifecycle management. Using our “collect, connect, reuse” approach, we turn field inspection into strategic data capture—creating sub-inch-accurate digital as-builts of what was built, where, and how. As FHWA’s EDC-6 initiative pushes digital as-builts, adoption has been slow, and most agencies still rely on 2D plan drawing PDFs. Sitenotes meets agencies where they are—whether on 2D or transitioning to 3D—by connecting construction data across design, construction, and asset-management systems and giving them a reusable, AI-ready data foundation. We integrate with platforms like AASHTOWare Project, Esri, and Trimble GNSS. After a 13-state technical review, Sitenotes became the first external company in our category approved into the AASHTOWare Data Alliance—giving us credibility and reach across the 40+ state DOTs that use the platform.
