About #SJFinder +Introduction: SJFinder is founded by a team of scientists from diverse backgrounds, but with an equal passion for science, and a common wish to make the world a better place through scientific research. Publication is not the most important part of work, but it may be one of the most effective ways to spread knowledge and to share insights with the rest of the world. In the era of cloud computing and big data, we believe there is a more efficient method to publish results of scientific research. That's how we decided to build SJFinder, a cloud-based service aiming to make scientific publication easier.+Materials and Methods: Using MEDLINE®/PubMed®, a database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, and the Solr platform, we build a sophisticated search engine, which recommends a list of journals most suitable for new/unpublished manuscripts based on title and abstract.+Results: After repetitive testing and extensive optimization, SJFinder is able to recommend a list of journals of high relevance.+Discussions:'We will not launch SJFinder if it can't recommend good journals for our own manuscripts'. With this very simple business motto in mind, we are very confident and proud to launch SJFinder in June 2014. Currently our focus is mainly in the biomedical/life sciences and related fields, and we plan to expand our service to other disciplines. Recommending journals is only the first step of our grand plan. We will gradually reveal more useful, practical and fun services every few months, all aiming to help scientists achieve the common wish we share.
