About Us: Skate Cabal is a multi-award-winning movement that transcends roller skating to become a vibrant, empowering community. We bring people together through the joy of skating, hosting iconic events like our Skate Jam Academies, Roll Fests, and Hackney Bridge Takeovers. From adrenaline-filled skate sessions to our elegant Ballroom Skate Coaching, we create spaces that celebrate diversity, connection, and creativity. Rolling for Change Campaign: As part of our commitment to civic engagement, Skate Cabal launched the Rolling for Change Campaign with support from the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust’s Democracy Fund. Our mission is to empower Black and ethnically diverse communities to engage in the democratic process. Through in-depth research and community engagement, we uncover the barriers to voter participation and work to build lasting change. Roller-Skating Education: We’re dedicated to educating and empowering skaters of all levels. Our Roller Skate Jam Academy offers tailored coaching, from beginner and intermediate Learn-to-Skate sessions to advanced Jam Skate workshops.
