The SkiA Sweetspot Trainer was invented by UK doctor and keen skier, Dr Martin Breach. In developing the idea, Martin worked closely with Hugh Monney, founder of the British Alpine Ski School (BASS) and former research scientist. The trainer is a 'dry land' ski-training gadget that will revolutionise the way you ski, whatever your level of ability. With regular sessions of just a few minutes at a time, you will learn the skill that lies behind the controlled, apparently effortless skiing of elite performers: how to centre your balance around the 'sweetspot'. Aware of how poorly understood the sweetspot is, Martin Breach and Hugh Monney saw the potential for a ski training aid that applies the rules of physics in a simple way to help skiers develop the critical skills of balance and co-ordination. The concept has been welcomed enthusiastically by top skiers, and trialled in ski schools across Europe and more recently the USA.
