Skill Green Global SkillGreen Global (SGG) is a 6 year old social enterprise based in Gurgaon, registered as a private limited company, set up through a joint initiative of National Skills Foundationof India (NSFI) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH), under the Green Innovation Centre programme of GIZ. SkillGreen was registered in July 2016 with the support of NSFI and Welthungerhilfe. The enterprise is envisioned as a separate entity with the purpose of sustaining the impact from innovations developed under the Green Innovation Centre Programme by carrying forward the innovations beyond the project period and the geographies. Our Missio is to work towards bridging the critical gaps in Agriculture skill development and value chains in rural areas by creating rural entrepreneurs and skilled professionals leveraging the untapped potential of improved natural resource management through sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery, food processing, use of non-timber forest produces and renewable rural energy. We endeavor to collaborate with like-minded partners and enable 2.5 lakh eco-prenuers through Green Colleges, to Fasttrack High Potential Rural Entrepreneurs and to facilitate 250 FPOs to become strong and self-reliant by 2025. SkillGreen provides specific local solutions based on the natural resource base, traditional knowledge and wisdom, use of scientific knowledge and market information. The services are provided to NGOs, government, multilateral and bilateral donor agencies, institutional donors, impact investors, corporate and other like-minded organisations towards co-creating meaningful livelihood or employment opportunities for a positive development impact.
