SkillWorks, Inc. provides independent study courses to water and wastewater treatment plant operators and professional engineers for re-certification credits. Most states require licensing of treatment plant operators, and many states require that these operators participate in periodic re-certification training. Eventually all states will have this requirement. SkillWorks, Inc. assists operators by making available easy to understand independent study materials whose Training Contact Hours, Professional Development Hours, and Continuing Education Units can be used to satisfy this re-certification requirement. In most states, we report your successful results directly to the state reporting authorities. Our courses have received explicit approval from Connecticut, California, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas to provide recertification training to their operators.
