Skin Clays produce Organic, Vegan-friendly lifestyle products, made by hand from ingredients sourced from Africa (local). We cater to the individual home user (personal care), hospitality (amenities) and Spas (professional and retail). We believe that we each have an opportunity and responsibility to make a difference, not only for our customers but also to our staff and the environment. Skin Clays provide an apprenticeship program with the focus to upskill young ladies from informal settlements in Cape Town to become therapist within the market. Skin Clays run a Bamboo Crochet project where we train ladies that are unskilled and unemployed to crochet specific, quality bamboo bath products, which we then purchase and sell, generating an income for them. We reward our customers for returning, recycling and reusing our containers ensuring that we have a minimal impact on the environment. Our products are organic and vegan-friendly, made by hand. Skin Clays offer a unique Safari Spa concept to our African Spa industry, including a menu, tools, product and music per treatment. Each treatment is set-up to ensure our customers are informed and a part of re-cycling and job creation while creating a truly unique experience and journey with each ritual. We consider our customers like family.
