SKN BNK is a unique place for above-average individuals from the SGH academic community to exchange views. For over a dozen years now, our mission has been to provide a space for high quality discussion and dialogue. First of all - we debate, both within our own circle and in the inter-university arena. BNK teams represent SGH at tournaments such as the nationwide Polish Academic Oxford Debate Championships (Akademickie Mistrzostwa Polski Debat Oksfordzkich), in which we won second place in 2017 and third place in 2019. In addition, we have been organising the Oxford Debate Tournament (Turniej Debat Oksfordzkich) for 10 years, which enables the most outstanding Warsaw teams to compete. Secondly, at regularly organised meetings with extraordinary figures from the world of science, politics, business and the media, we have the opportunity to learn about their work from a perspective unknown to the public. This is a unique opportunity for a personal exchange with specialists in their fields. Thirdly, during seminars conducted by alumni and members of our club, we discuss current economic and social issues. The Circle's other activities focus, among other things, on producing publications such as the "Guide to Moral Capitalism"("Przewodnik po moralnym kapitalizmie) or the latest book on debates, which is scheduled to be published this year. We also run numerous trainings for high school age youth, cooperating with many organisations such as the Vilnius Foundation (Fundacja Wileńszczyzna). Members of the circle can also realise their talents in the internal scientific-editorial section, which with its texts supports not only our own BNK Observer (Obserwator BNK), but also the SGH Observer (Obserwator SGH). Our now famous Tuesday meetings are a must for all students with an open mind and equal to our love of science.
