With these, we build the ideal 21st century classroom, one school at a time. At Skool Media, we put technology in classrooms, in the hands of teachers and students. Learning should be engaging. Why are we doing this? We believe that educational technology holds the key, not only to keep students in classrooms, but to give over 10million out-of-school Nigerian children access to quality education. These new technologies, could also support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. No child should be left behind in the transformation of the education space- from teaching and learning to evaluation and collaboration. What are we doing? ICT Trainings for Teachers: In all our operational schools, we have on-ground IT instructors who provide trainings for about 8, staff across the schools. These instructors also provide maintenance support to the ICT laboratories in the colleges. Digitalisation of Classrooms: Painted in bright welcoming colours, digital teaching aids which include, over 200 projectors with automatic projector screens; over 200 presenters and over 200 laptops have been deployed across Nigeria. Tablets are pre-installed with educational materials, thereby improving their academic performance.
