Skycom Corporation

Skycom is an aerospace startup located in Austin, Texas. Our unmanned High-Altitude, Lighter-Than-Air Platforms (HALTAPs) create low-cost real estate in the sky. With modular payload capabilities, HALTAPs can perform a variety of functions, including Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), communications, remote sensing, and scientific research. In April 2023, Skycom was awarded an AFWERX-sponsored Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 1 contract. We have partnered with U.S. Air Force to learn how our HALTAPs can be used to modernize the Department of Defense and better protect us from emerging threats. We also welcome the opportunity to speak with any other federal entities interested in integrating HALTAPs into their operations.
