SKYDAN Equity Partners is a Real Estate Investment Company that purchases Single Family Homes from homeowners with a unique Sale/Leaseback Program. Homeowners agree to lease the home back from SKYDAN at the agreed amount for a period of time but not to exceed two years. The rent is deferred (no monthly payments) and to be paid at the end of the agreement. At that time the homeowner has two options: 1. Purchasing the home back from SKYDAN at the agreed price (original purchase price + deferred rent) or 2. Selling the property, with the homeowner receiving any value over the agreed amount due SKYDAN. Skydan's program allows homeowners to easily tap into their home equity without the approval restrictions and monthly payment plans and associated interest obligations that a traditional bank loan or Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) carries. With a traditional bank loan, consumers must go through a FICO-based credit approval process and, if approved, borrow the equivalent amount of money and pay the bank back with interest monthly for the privilege. This is what homeowners face every day and their wealth ends up tied up in their homes while debt piles up. Accessing that home-equity wealth to help consumers is Skydan's mission - providing an easy alternative to traditional bank borrowing against the home through equity refinancing, home equity loans or home equity lines of credit (HELOCs).
