Established in 2012 Skylite are proud to be sole supplier of SourceMaker lighting balloons, outside of the USA. The balloons have been designed by a team of innovators, descended from 3 generations of US Gaffers. The team have worked and developed products for numerous award winning Cinematographers and Gaffers, on hundreds of major Hollywood feature films and television dramas, so we like to think they know what you need from a balloon! The balloon envelopes are made of high-density durable material, which gives a soft quality of light and is UV protected, preventing yellowing of the envelope. The cubes and rectangles offer controllable lighting, by allowing Gaffers to blackout any of their sides. Skylite’s aim is to bring the highest quality lighting balloons, available on the market today, to Gaffers and Cinematographers working in the UK, Ireland and Europe, to enable and enhance their creative vision.
