Skylon has introduced its new lifting solution (patent application in process) which we named, the RO-LO(R)(Roll-On, Lift-On). The RO-LO(R) is a lifting solution to enable the Multipurpose vessel owner to easily load any type of Ro-Ro freight on to their vessels without the use of a ro-ro ramp at the Port terminals or a ro-ro ramp on the vessel. This solution will enable the vessel operators to generate additional freight volumes which results in optimizing their vessels from a profitability standpoint. The first RO-LO(R) shall be in operation in October 2009.
